Something To Do . . .

Cara over at Horton Hears A Who is my partner for the L-O-V-E swap & I headed over to her blog to see if I could learn a little about her & found this.  It's a great little meme, so I figured I'd give it a whirl.  And, her blog is FABULOUS - - - especially if you're looking for some awesome recipes!!!  Here goes . . .

  1. What is your occupation?  I'm a paralegal for a labor & employment/corporate law firm.
  2. What color are your socks right now?   Plain, boring white.
  3. What are you listening to right now?  A comedy cd on Rhapsody.
  4. What was the last thing that you ate?  Pancakes & bacon - we had breakfast for supper.  YUMMY!
  5. Can you drive a stick shift?  No.
  6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be?  I guess it would depend on the day, but . . . maybe yellow.
  7. Last person you spoke to on the phone?  A client.
  8. How old are you today?  31.
  9. Favorite drink?  Don't have just 1 favorite, so I'll give you the list.  Water, sweet tea, coffee, hot chocolate.  Midori sour or margarita on the rocks (on the rare occasion that I actually drink).
  10. What is your favorite sport to watch?  I'm not a big sports fan, but if I have to watch one - - - baseball!
  11. Have you ever dyed your hair?  No.
  12. Favorite Pets?  Dogs - especially labrador retrievers!
  13. Favorite food?  Almost anything Italian.
  14. What was the last movie you watched?  Slappy & the Stinkers with my nephew.  It's a really cute movie.
  15. Favorite holiday of the year?  Christmas.
  16. What do you do to vent anger?  Blog, get in the car & just drive, go shopping (even if it's just to browse), cry, sleep, and the list goes on.
  17. Favorite childhood toy? I loved Holly Hobbie!
  18. What is your favorite, fall or spring?  Fall is my FAVORITE!!
  19. Hugs or kisses? Hugs.
  20. Cherries or Blueberries?  Honestly - - - neither!
  21. Who is most likely to respond via blog?  Oh, I don't know.  Most of the people who post comments on my blog are people I don't even know.  I hope that a lot of 'delurkers' will participate.  I enjoy doing memes because it helps me get to know my blogland friends.
  22. Living arrangements?  In a condo - not in the city, but not in the country either!  It's me, myself & I and I like it that way!  I do miss having a pet, though & may think about getting another one in the future.
  23. When was the last time you cried?  A week or so ago when I was just sooooooo frustrated & angry about the way things have been going lately.
  24. What is on the floor of your closet?  Shoes, overnight bag(s), storage tubs.
  25. Favorite smells?  Clean smells - laundry detergent, fabric softener; rain (weird, I know); coffee; homemade bread; etc.

  27. What inspires you?  Church, friends & family.
  28. What are you afraid of?  Deep water, anything creepy crawly, losing someone I love.
  29. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers?  Cheeseburgers - mayo & ketchup only.
  30. Favorite dog breed?  Oh, I love ALL dogs, but I have to be biased & say labrador retrievers, since my 'sister with fur' is one and my former pet was one.  I MISS him!  :-(
  31. How many years at your current job?  Almost 8 years.
  32. Favorite place you've ever been?  It's a toss-up between Charleston, SC and Flat Rock/Hendersonville, NC.  I also loved Fripp Island, SC.  I'd love to go back there.

  34. Favorite day of the week?  Saturday.
  35. Ever driven a motorcycle or heavy machinery?  Nope.
  36. Who's your favorite NFL team?  I couldn't care less about NFL football, but I guess I'd just pull for the Carolina Panthers, since they're a somewhat local team.
  37. Do you have a house phone that is not cordless?  I don't have a landline anymore, but when I did - - - I had one corded phone, just in case we didn't have power.
