Do you live in a house or apartment? Neither. I live in a condo.
What is your most used room in your house? Does it tend to follow any kind of design theme? I'm rarely at home, so I suppose the most used room is my bedroom. Right now, it's following the 'cluttered up' and 'junky' theme, but I'm in the midst of decluttering and reorganizing. Even after I'm finished, I'm not sure it will actually follow a design theme, though.
Which room in your home would you most like to change? What would you change in it? The living room. I'd change most everything. I want new furniture because everything I have is 'hand-me-down' and I want everything to be organized and functional.
If you could add a room to your house, what would it be used for? I would love to have a room that is for nothing but crafting. I scrapbook and I make handmade ornaments. I'd love to be able to keep all my supplies in one place and be able to leave them out.
Find a real estate listing online of a home that could be your dream home and share it with us. It can be anywhere in the world and totally not realistic! Okay, this one was difficult. I love to look at real estate, just for fun. After all, a girl can dream, can't she? One of my very favorite places to visit is the Hendersonville/Flat Rock area of North Carolina. I love the mountains, so my dream home would definitely be in that setting. This particular area of NC is not very far from where I live - about 45 minutes. So, it's close enough to my hometown, family and friends, but far enough away to relax and enjoy. I couldn't narrow down my favorite, so here are my top 3. Be sure and check out the pictures and/or slideshows of these beautiful homes!!! (1) Champion Hills in Hendersonville, NC, (2) 5-10 acres in Hendersonville, NC and (3) Fairweather Farms in Hendersonville, NC. I love all of these properties, but I would have to say that #3 is probably my favorite. So, what do you think? Which one is your favorite?
And, here's this week's Friday 5:
Under what conditions can you have the perfect nap? I have to have total darkness when I sleep. I also sleep best when it's raining and when it's cold.
Under what conditions can you let most of your guard down? When I completely trust someone, which is very rare for me.
Under what conditions can you do your best writing? When I've had a particularly bad day and need to 'vent.' I tend to be able to write out my feelings better than I can verbally express them. I don't know that this is what some would consider 'best writing,' but for me, it is.
Under what conditions would you give away everything you own? If I won the lottery and was able to travel the world.
Under what conditions would you kiss a stranger? There are NO conditions for this particular situation.
Appetizer: What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called? Lynn. My daddy named me, so I'm fine with my name.
Soup: If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most? Honestly, this is a tough question. I love paisleys, toiles, jacquard, retro - basically I like a lot of different stuff. Colors would probably be a lot of greens, blues, browns and yellows. Styles - I have NO idea!
Salad: What is your least favorite chore, and why? Cleaning the bathroom. I don't suppose there's any particular reason other than it's just monotonous and disgusting! I especially hate scrubbing the toilets - UGH!
Main Course: What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life? Deep water. We had an in-ground pool growing up and a friend of the family decided I needed to learn how to swim, so he just threw me in the deep end and my foot caught on the rope and I almost drowned. To this day, I'm terribly afraid of deep water and will not jump into it. I'll swim into the deep end, but only if I have to.
Dessert: Where are you sitting right now? Name 3 things you can see at this moment. On my bed. I can see: (1) My laptop, (2) my alarm clock, and (3) a collage of photos of my daddy.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to having dinner with my family, tomorrow my plans include hanging out with Bubby and spending the night at my mom's for his required 'sleepover' (he expects this when he's at my mom's) and Sunday, I want to go home after church and relax!
And, here's yet another new meme called Know and Tell Friday:
Question 2: How many times have you moved in your life? Let's see - I think I've moved 9 times. Hopefully, I'll never have to move again because I HATE it!
Question 3: What kind of chicken wings do you like? Mild, medium, hot, or singe your eyebrows off hot? None of them! I can't stand them!
Question 4: Which is worse? Shopping for Jeans or a bathing suit? Definitely a bathing suit. They outlawed whaling a lonnnngggg time ago!
Question 5: What is your favorite kind of pizza? Thick crust, extra cheese, light sauce, pepperoni and beef. I love to add garlic and oregano, too. YUMMY!
Question 6: What is your favorite book of the Bible and why? I really love the Psalms. There's no particular reason. I just get a lot of encouragement from reading that book. I need to read more of the Bible.
Question 7: Think Evangelism...What kind of witness (telling others about Christ, spreading the gospel) are you? I wouldn't put myself into the category of an evangelist or anything. I don't throw my beliefs in others face, but I don't have a problem telling others that I'm a Christian and sharing what God has done and is doing in my life. I believe the best way you can witness to people is by living your life so that people question what you have in your life that they don't have!
Hope everyone has a super great weekend!
