Never Forget 9/11

Today is September 11th - a day that will never be far from my memory (and probably not yours). It's hard to believe that it's been 6 years since this tragic event in American history.

I won't fill this post up with a bunch of rambling because I have already expressed my feelings, etc. in regards to this event in last year's post. I simply wanted to try to find a moving tribute video to post to my blog.

I found several on YouTube, but the one that moved me the most is below. I also included the Budweiser Tribute commercial that was aired at last year's (I believe) Super Bowl. It moved me to tears. Get over the fact that it's a beer commercial - after all, it's not about the beer - it's about the tribute!!! VERY MOVING! It starts with this video & then the next is the memorial video.

We must NEVER forget this day and how it changed our country. We must NEVER forget the thousands of lives lost and the hundreds of thousands of people impacted by this day!

I will end by saying this . . . I am so thankful to live in a country where, for the most part, I can go about my day-to-day routine without fearing for my life. I am thankful that there are soldiers who are fighting every day for the freedoms I (and you) enjoy! Whether you're for the war or against it doesn't matter . . . what matters is that these soliders believe in what they're doing & if it weren't for them, we would not have the lives that we have today or will have in the future!

My thoughts & prayers are with all the families affected directly by this tragedy and with those soliders & their families fighting for freedom! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
